Produced by Franco Rossi Armonic (Italy), this “Nigra & Alba” (Black & White in Latin) version of the 78 Arcana of the Tarot of Marseille Millennium Edition, 2022 – limited and numbered to 300 copies – is the very first edition entirely in black & white of a traditional Tarot de Marseille. Printed in deep black, without varnish, this version reveals the graphic power of the traditional iconography of the Marseille Tarot, as well as the precision and beauty of the design of the Arcana of the Tarot of Marseille Millennium Edition. This edition is intended to be preserved as is, or to be colored in for initiation or simply for pleasure. If the method of coloring (felt-tip pens, colored pencils, watercolors...) is done according to one's preference, the range of Winsor & Newton Promarker felt-tip pens shown in the image below for references: True Blue B555 / Sky Blue B138 / Dark Green G356 / Light Green G258 / Yellow Y657 / Flesh o628 / Red R666. After coloring, the cards can be “varnished” according to the traditional method used by the Master Cardmakers until the middle of the 19th century to protect the cards and give them glide: by rubbing the cards with pure Marseille soap (traditional recipe, without dyes or additives). 78 cards (format 124 X 65 mm) + 3 presentation cards (French, Italian and English)
